BEAUTIFIXED is a critique of society’s relentless obsession with women’s beauty standards and the violence quietly embedded within them. Using AI-generated references as the foundation for a series of illustrations, Idillustrates exposes the physical and psychological extremes women are expected to endure in pursuit of remaining “desirable,” “acceptable,” or “beautiful.”

The works are intentionally disturbing. Unlike the invisible advertising and algorithmic marketing that continuously introduce new insecurities disguised as trends, these images refuse subtlety. They force into visibility what is usually softened, filtered, or normalized.

No matter how progressive society claims to become, women’s bodies, behavior, and appearance remain under constant public negotiation. BEAUTIFIXED turns that scrutiny back onto the viewer, asking not only what we consume, but why we continue to accept it.
