Hyld & Løv is an exhibition by Julie H. Baltzer that explores childhood memories through the medium of cyanotype.

The collection explores the dreamy quality of our memories. How some months and even years are completely lost to us while a single summer, an hour or even a single crystal moment stand as clear as glass years and years later.

Hyld & Løv recalls tree-climbing and picking elderflowers with Julies mum and sister by the fjord and crunching leaves on the pavement after school in the depths of autumn. The collection is an invitation to take a second to enjoy those small moments of light and beauty that swoop past us way too quickly.
